Allan R. Cohen is the Distinguished Professor of Global Leadership (Emeritus) at Babson College, (Wellesley, MA). He was in residence at San Francisco campus 2012-until closing 2019, and previously spent seven years as Chief Academic Officer, leading major curriculum and organizational changes.
Cohen is the co-author of several widely read books, "Managing for Excellence;" "Power Up: Transforming Organizations through Shared Leadership;" "Influence without Authority (3rd edition 2017);" and "Entrepreneurship in Every Generation: How Successful Family Businesses Develop Their Next Leaders."
He has consulted on a variety of leadership, culture change and organizational transformation projects for fast growth entrepreneurial to major organizations. He spent six years as (part -time) Senior VP of consulting firm Goodmeasure, Inc. and is on the boards of Third Street Youth Center & Clinic, First Place for Youth and other Non-profits.
Cohen has an AB at Amherst College, and MBA & DBA at Harvard Business School.
