These Terms govern your use of designbymiz.com and the apps and services offered by Design by Miz, a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada. By using them, you agree to these Terms.
Use of our apps
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our apps for their intended purpose. You agree not to misuse them, reverse-engineer them, or use them to break the law.
Purchases
Orders are processed by our Merchant of Record, who is the seller of record for your purchase and handles billing, tax, and receipts. Pricing and availability may change. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Intellectual property
The site, apps, brand, and content are owned by Design by Miz unless stated otherwise. Your content remains yours.
Disclaimer & liability
The apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Design by Miz is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from their use.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law, including under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002. Some jurisdictions don't allow excluding implied warranties or conditions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use means you accept the revised Terms.
